The Serengeti is renowned for its wide-open plains and huge herds of wildebeest spectacularly seen during the annual migration.

Get ready as the show is almost getting started you might be witnessing the biggest event of the wildebeest migration when the wildebeest arrive at river Mara ready to cross.

DAY: 1 ARRIVAL

Meet and greet our clients at Kilimanjaro International Airport or any other arrival point, you will be warmly welcomed by our Within Tanzania Safaris Profession Guide who will introduce himself and there after you will be transferred to African Tulip hotel in Arusha for overnight on full board  bases. You will also be given a short brief on your upcoming safari.

DAY 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Early pick up at the lodge at 7:00 am with packed picnic lunch, it will take 1 hour to get to Tarangire national park. Tarangires huge herds of elephants are ever present to fascinate visitors with their grace and majesty. You will have picnic lunch at one of the picnic sites and there after you will have time still to marvel and peel your preconception thought and get to reality. In the late evening we set off to the lodge at Manyara area for dinner and overnight on full board bases.

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast with picnic lunch we depart to Ngorongoro conservation area, the large collapsed volcano and not just you will be in the crater but also the one described among the eight wonders of the world. It is a conservation area meaning the area is for both the animals and local Maasai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife. In the crater is the home of the big 5 Elephants, buffalo, Leopard, Rhino and lions. Drive to Serengeti national park overnight at Katikati camp on full board bases

DAY 4: CENTRAL SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.

 Straight after breakfast the whole day is yours in Serengeti national park. We are not after the migration only as you know the migration is followed by predators if lucky you might spot a kill in action. Overnight at Katikati camp on full board bases.

DAY 5: NORTHERN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Today we will drive from seronera to northern Serengeti (Mara river) for the wildebeest crossing. In the northern we now follow the herds of wildebeest to the mara river to witness them crossing into Kenya. Patience is required as the wildebeest arrive by the river stand at the river bank watching carefully in water as the river is full of crocodiles. If not lucky today there is tomorrow we will be back overnight at Mara under Canvas camp.

DAY 6: NORTHERN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

You will be having a normal game drive searching for different animal depending on how lucky you are as the northern Serengeti is abundant of wildlife. You might spot lions, cheetah, gazelles, buffalo, elephants and also black Rhino if lucky. Just in case you did not witness the wildebeests crossing today we can give it another try making sure you witness the unforgettable. Late evening drive back to the camp at Mara under Canvas camp.

DAY 7: SERENGETI – ARUSHA

Fly from Serengeti national park  to arusha then transferred to Kilimanjaro airport for the flight back home or next destination.
